Type the German Es-tset
For those of you learning German, here is a quick and easy way to be able to type the German es-tset(ß) character.
Just follow the directions here for turning on the US-International keyboard layout. Once you have done this you have to press the rightmost alt key and the letter 's' at the same time.
Practice by typing Straße. To do this just enable the US-International keyboard and then type the four characters 's' 't' 'r' 'a'. To get the es-tset, press the rightmost alt key and the letter s simultaneously. 'ALT-GR + S'. That's it!
Please note that on some european keyboards, the rightmost alt key is labeled as Alt-gr... that means alt-graphics.
Viele Glück!
